GM. This is Everyday Juice, the sports betting newsletter that lands every day at 11 AM ET and is dressed as a cashed ticket for Halloween.
π Juice: We needed six goals in Calgary. We got eight, and I didnβt even have to bite a nail.
π€ Vig: Over 5.5 cashed. That makes 22 wins since launch, and I have the spreadsheet open to prove it.

π§Ύ The Refill: Calgary scored early, often and on our behalf.
π The Squeeze Play: Lubbock expects fireworks on Halloween. We brought a wet blanket.
π± On the Vine: One lean we liked, just not enough to squeeze.
π₯€ The Fresh Pour: Down big after one quarter, then Steph got bored.
β‘ Quick Sips: The Rockets lose, LeBron wins and the NBA training room fills up.
π Juicy Meme: This yearβs scariest costume fits in your pocket.
π€ Beat the Vig: Who scored 100 points in a single NBA game? Answer in The Last Drop.
π Trade Against Fans, Not the House

π Refill: β Β· Kraken/Flames Over 5.5 (β155), BetRivers, 1π Β· +0.65u
The Over never broke a sweat. The Flames and Kraken combined for eight goals. Matt Coronato had a career high four points. Calgary has now won five straight at home. Seattle pulled Philipp Grubauer before the night was over, which is the hockey version of hiding the receipt.
π§Ύ The record since Sept 26: 22 wins, 9 losses Β· +9.73u

π Squeeze Play: Arizona at Texas Tech, Under 54.5
Everyone dressed this one up as a shootout. We think itβs a costume.
| Game | Arizona at Texas Tech |
| Sport/Type | NCAAF / Total |
| Book | DraftKings |
| Odds | β110 |
| Play | Under 54.5 Β· 1π |
Why: The market pushed this total up two full points this week, so weβre buying the Under after the climb. Arizona allows 16.7 points a game. Arizona has gone over the total in only three games this season.
Pulp: Texas Tech games have gone over the total five times this season. Both offenses score about 36 points a game.
Walk-away: Worse than β125 at 54.5, we pass. If the total drops below 53.5, we pass too.
Price as of 10:00 AM ET at DraftKings. Lines move; check yours. DraftKings is a sportsbook; available where legal. 1 π = 1% of your bankroll.

Today's leans: Not ripe enough to squeeze. Yet. We liked them, just not enough.
π± Stanford at Louisville, Louisville β22.5
Louisville should bury Stanford. We just want a better number before we squeeze.
| Game | Stanford at Louisville |
| Sport/Type | NCAAF / Spread |
| Book | Caesars |
| Odds | β108 |
| Play | Louisville β22.5 |
Why: Pinnacle also has Louisville at β116. That makes β108 about fair value, not a steal.
A lean, not a play. Lines move; check yours. Caesars is a sportsbook; available where legal.

Down 23 after one. Won by 17.
What happened: The Warriors beat the Lakers by 17 on Friday in their NBA Cup opener. Golden State trailed by 23 after the first quarter. Stephen Curry scored 31 and passed Dominique Wilkins on the career scoring list. Luka Doncic answered with 37, plus a technical foul for his trouble.
Why it matters: It was the largest margin of victory in the shot clock era for a team trailing by 20 or more after the first quarter. Anyone who bailed on Golden State live sold at the bottom.
The takeaway: A first quarter tells you who started hot, not who finishes. Steph has been ending these arguments since your phone had a keyboard.

The Rockets arenβt perfect anymore. Dallas handed Houston its first loss behind 35 points from Kyrie Irving. Cooper Flagg added 33. Kevin Durant missed two late free throws, and now Memphis is the last unbeaten team standing.
LeBron is 41 and still closing. The 76ers beat the champion Knicks on a go ahead fadeaway from LeBron James. He finished with 20. Philadelphia has now beaten New York twice this season.
The NBA training room is full. Jalen Williams broke his fibula and could miss the whole season. Jaren Jackson Jr. is out at least six weeks with a torn MCL. Rockets coach Ime Udoka called the early wave of injuries βunprecedented.β Steve Kerr is still arguing that 82 games is too many. Our read: check the injury report before you bet anything this month.

π€ Vig's answer: Wilt Chamberlain. He did it against the Knicks in 1962. Steph only needed 31 last night, but he also had Luka yelling at him.
