GM. This is Everyday Juice, the newsletter that would like to see Chadβs losing slips before attending his victory parade.
Juice: Milwaukee got a parade. We got a receipt.
π€ Vig: Kennesaw dropped us to 20β9 on the season. Still the best room in the building. Back to work.

π§Ύ The Refill: Kennesaw found the map. Then the end zone. Repeatedly.
π The Squeeze Play: Carolina rolls into Lambeau short on linemen. Weβre taking the home team.
π₯€ The Fresh Pour: Milwaukee finally pops the cork.
π± On the Vine: One lean on the ice.
π€― Pulp Fiction: Win one game, steal the momentum? Ask the Rays.
πΌ Vintage Juice: Tampa Bay and Game 5 have some history.
π§ Betting IQ: The most important number is the one you refuse to take.
π Juicy Meme: Somebody brought the wrong kind of juice to the clubhouse.
π€ Beat the Vig: Before this year, Milwaukee had been to exactly one World Series. What year? Answer in The Last Drop.

Refill: β Β· Middle Tennessee ML (β140), bet365, 1 π Β· β1.00u
Our headline said Kennesaw lost the map, so naturally the 1β6 Owls found it. They led 19β17 at halftime. Then they hung 17 fourth-quarter points on Middle Tennessee and won 44β28. We paid β140 for the likelier winner and got a guided tour of the wrong end zone.

π Squeeze Play: Panthers at Packers, Packers ML
Carolina packed light for Lambeau and forgot the offensive line.
| Game | Panthers at Packers |
| Sport/Type | NFL / Moneyline |
| Book | DraftKings |
| Odds | β192 |
| Play | Packers ML Β· 1π |
Why: ESPN lists Jaelan Phillips, Damien Lewis and Torricelli Simpkins III out for Carolina. Taylor Moton is on IR. The market keeps moving toward Green Bay.
Pulp: Green Bay is missing Micah Parsons too, and Thursday night games have a habit of getting weird. Laying this much juice means an upset stings twice.
Walk-away: β198 or worse. Past that, we pass.
Price as of 1:20 AM ET at DraftKings. Lines move; check yours. DraftKings is a sportsbook; available where legal. 1 π = 1% of your bankroll.

Milwaukee finally gets its parade
What happened: The Brewers beat the Rays 4β1 on Wednesday night to win the first World Series title in franchise history. Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings before a calf cramp sent him out. William Contreras was named World Series MVP. Rookie Cooper Pratt drove in two more runs. He also set a World Series rookie record with six straight hits.
Why it matters: This was the franchiseβs 58th season. Its only other World Series ended with a blown lead in Game 7, so Milwaukee futures tickets have been gathering dust for a while. Baseball is done until spring, which means your nights now belong to football, basketball and hockey.
The takeaway: A small-market team played small ball and won the whole thing. The books will not be sending a fruit basket.

Today's leans: Not ripe enough to squeeze. Yet. We liked them, just not enough.
Canadiens at Stars, Canadiens +1.5
The one lean priced right at fair.
| Game | Montreal Canadiens at Dallas Stars |
| Sport/Type | NHL / Puck line |
| Book | FanDuel |
| Odds | β170 |
| Lean | Canadiens +1.5 |
Why: Pinnacle makes Montreal +1.5 about a 63% shot, a fair price near β170. FanDuelβs β170 is the only price we found that matches it.
Pulp: ESPN lists Nick Suzuki out, with Ivan Demidov and Sam Montembeault on IR. Our read: the market has already priced in Suzukiβs absence.
Odds as of 6:25 AM ET at FanDuel. FanDuel is a sportsbook; available where legal. Leans are not official plays and donβt count toward the Squeeze record.

The myth: win one game and the momentum flips. The Rays fell behind 3β0. Then they won Game 4 in extra innings. They were the fifth team ever to force a Game 5 from that hole. None of the first four forced a Game 6. On Wednesday, the Rays made it zero for five.
Our take: Momentum is a vibe. The price already knew about the vibe.

2008, the Phillies close out Tampa Bay. On this date in 2008, the Phillies beat the Rays 4β3 to win the World Series at Citizens Bank Park. Cole Hamels was named Series MVP. According to MLB.com, the Rays also lost Game 5 in their 2020 World Series. Wednesday made it three trips and three Game 5 losses.
Why it still matters: Sportsbooks donβt price curses, and neither should you. Bet the matchup and the number, not the ghost story.

The walk-away price
The idea: A walk-away price is the worst number youβll accept before you pass. Past it, the bet stops being worth it, even if you still like the team.
Todayβs example: Take Canadiens +1.5 from On the Vine. The sharp market at Pinnacle puts its fair price near β170. That makes β170 at FanDuel a fair deal. If it drifts to β180, youβd be paying more than itβs worth, so you walk.
The takeaway: Pick your limit before you open the app, not after the line moves.

First title. First squeeze.

π€ Vigβs answer: 1982. The Brewers led the Cardinals in the sixth inning of Game 7 and lost. They waited 44 years for the do-over.
