Juice: Four straight Refill wins. I've started signing my texts "the Oracle."
🤖 Vig: 18–6, +10.12u. The Oracle still has a bankroll limit.
GM. This is Everyday Juice, the sports betting newsletter that watched Milwaukee celebrate a World Series win, then watched replay make them win it again.

🍊 The Squeeze Play: A line that flipped from +2.5 to −2.5 this week. We're following the money to Columbia.
🥤 The Fresh Pour: World Series Game 2, plus a Saturday college slate full of road favorites who think they're fine.
🤔 Off the Menu: The replay review cost us a lean. Plus a World Series Under and the Hawks.
⚡ Quick Sips: Brunson misses 20 by a point, a 103.5 mph pitch, and an NBA game that left town early for the baseball.
🍋 The Sour Squeeze: Brewers −1.5 bettors heard fireworks. Then they heard from New York.
🤖 Brain Juice: The Brewers won Game 1, 3–2. The Rays were +1.5 on the run line. Before the replay review, the score was going to finish 3–1. Which run-line side did that one review flip from loser to winner? Answer in The Last Drop.
🍊 Trade Against Fans, Not the House
Novig is a sports prediction market, so you're trading against other fans instead of a house that sets the odds and then hides behind them. The order book is open, you can make your own odds or take someone else's, and Novig doesn't limit or ban users for winning. The Refill, presented by Pikkit.
🍊 Refill: ✅ · Avalanche ML (−125), DraftKings, 1 orange · +0.80u
Nathan MacKinnon put up four points in a 6–3 win over Tampa, so our entire contribution was refreshing a scoreboard (and confirming our nerves still work when the Lightning made it 5–3).
Record: 18–6 · +10.12u
Since launch, following every tracked Squeeze Play at $100 per unit would have produced about $1,012 in profit.
Based on recorded odds and unit sizes, including 2u plays and the disclosed September 26 1u assumption.

🍊 Squeeze Play: South Carolina ML
The Squeeze Play, presented by Novig.
Game: Tennessee at South Carolina
Sport/Type: NCAAF / Moneyline
Book: DraftKings
Odds: −135
Play: South Carolina ML · 1 🍊
Why: DraftKings opened South Carolina +2.5, and they're now −2.5, so the home team went from underdog to favorite this week. A 5-point swing in a near coin-flip game means the market is leaning hard one way, and the total dipped from 51.5 to 50.5 too. We'd rather ride the side the market moved to, at a price that's still fair.
🧃 Pulp: Heupel still hasn't named a starter, and if the move was about Tennessee's QB, the value's already gone.
Walk-away: worse than −150. Past that, we pass.
Price as of 2:45 AM ET at DraftKings. Lines move; check yours. DraftKings is a sportsbook; available where legal. 1 🍊 = 1% of your bankroll.

Game 2: Milwaukee up 1–0, and the arms are tidy
What happened: The Brewers took Game 1, 3–2, their first World Series win since 1982. Christian Yelich tripled in the first, Jacob Misiorowski gave them five strong innings, and Trevor Megill needed two final outs to close it (more on that in The Sour Squeeze).
The arms: Logan Henderson (3.00 ERA) for Milwaukee vs. Drew Rasmussen (1.29 ERA) for Tampa Bay. ESPN lists Shane McClanahan as out for the Rays.
The price: Brewers −127, Rays +106 at DraftKings. Milwaukee opened −119, so the steam is on the home side. The total sits at 6.5.
Why it matters: Rasmussen's number is the scary one for Milwaukee backers, and −127 isn't a discount. Fair price, not a Squeeze.
Also on the plate: Saturday's college slate
Tennessee at South Carolina −2.5. The line flipped from +2.5. It's our Squeeze.
Oklahoma −2.5 at Mississippi State. A quiet tick toward the Sooners from −1.5, total up to 47.5.
Texas A&M at Alabama −13.5. Opened −16.5 (Circa), so the market has slid 3 points toward the Aggies against a banged-up Alabama. Juice wants to know what's in the training room before he drinks it.
Boise State −14.5 at Washington State. 5–1 vs. 1–6. Right side, maybe; the hook past 14 is pulp we don't want.
Michigan State at UCLA −15.5. Total 44.5. That's roughly a 30–15 game or bust. Pass.
The takeaway: The cleanest signal on the board is the one in Columbia. Alabama's slide toward A&M is the one to watch, not chase.

Today's leans: The almost-Squeeze Plays. We liked them, just not enough.
Two good arms, one low number.
Game: Rays at Brewers (World Series Game 2)
Sport/Type: MLB / Total
Book: DraftKings
Odds: −107
Lean: Under 6.5
Why: The total is 6.5 at DraftKings, with the Under moving from −105 to −107 (ESPN). ESPN lists ERAs of 1.29 for Rasmussen and 3.00 for Henderson. A low number is already priced in, so this is a lean, not a play.
🧃 Pulp: Henderson's 3.00 isn't Rasmussen's 1.29, and one bad inning blows a 6.5.
Two unbeatens, one small nudge.
Game: Rockets at Hawks
Sport/Type: NBA / Moneyline
Book: DraftKings
Odds: −120
Lean: Hawks ML
Why: Atlanta moved from −115 to −120, with Houston going from −105 to +100. Both teams are 2–0. It's early-season noise, so the home side with a small nudge is only worth a lean.
🧃 Pulp: Two games is a tiny sample, and −120 is paying up for a coin flip.
Odds as of ~2:30 AM ET. Not official plays. Leans are not part of the Squeeze record.

19 is not 20. Jalen Brunson's 20+ points was the most-bet Knicks–Celtics points prop (Pikkit). He finished with 19: missed a free throw with 3.6 seconds left, then missed the second on purpose. Celtics won 107–103, so Knicks +3 didn't cover either. A two-for-one heartbreak special. (via @pikkitsports, ESPN box)
103.5 (mph). Jacob Misiorowski's first pitch of the World Series was the fastest in World Series pitch-tracking history, breaking Aroldis Chapman's old mark. Yandy Díaz got the best seat in the house, and it was still a ball. Juice respects a man who misses at record speed.
Bucks: gone by dinner. Milwaukee moved its NBA home opener against Chicago to the afternoon so the Brewers could have the city for World Series Game 1. The Bulls won 132–125, so the Bucks politely cleared out of the way and still got run over.

Brewers −1.5, World Series Game 1. Ninth inning, Milwaukee up 3–1, bases loaded, one out. Liam Hicks grounds to Brice Turang, who starts a 4-6-3 double play. Game over. Fireworks. Somebody wheels out the postgame stage. "Glory Days" plays (MLB.com).
Then the Rays challenged. Replay showed Cooper Pratt's foot was off second base when the ball hit his glove. Overturned. A run scored, 3–2, runners on second and third.
Megill struck out Jonny DeLuca for the real final out. Brewers fans got their win twice. Brewers −1.5 bettors got it zero times. Juice is sending them a fruit basket. It's mostly lemons, and the lemons have already been reviewed.

The sign says 4. The win streak says 4. The calendar says 5 days since the last loss (Oct 19). Juice only counts the days that cashed.

🤖 Vig's answer: The Rays +1.5. At 3–1, Tampa loses by two and +1.5 loses. After the review, 3–2, Tampa loses by one and +1.5 cashes. Same night, same result, different ticket. (Brewers −1.5 went the other way. See: lemons.)
